Using a "Non Blogger" Template

UPDATE:  All Better and All Fixed ~ it didn't take that long all things considered....

For the last few weeks I have been using a non blogger template and for the most part I have been very happy with the layout and the results. But.....because I have been using a template that was modified so that it worked in blogger any corrections had to be done to the code which was frustrating to say the least. This morning I got up and realized that there were some errors showing up on my blog that my limited coding skills would not allow me to fix and believe me I tried! I think I spent almost an hour trying to fix and then another hour backing everything up so that I didn't loose all of my widgets when I started over.

So it it with some trepidation that I am going back to blogger and using one of their "canned" templates and tweaking it to suit my needs. I know it will still not be exactly what I am looking for but I've got to work with the tools at hand. So during this transition I am not sure what shape my blog will be in if you are visiting, so I am apologizing in advance and hope you will bear with me. I hope to have it up and running by Noon Pacific Time!

  1. I like the look of your blog. I have changed mine a lot. I just took off the banner since it was to crowded, and am using blogger background at top, but another template. I just can't get that banner at the top right. will keep trying. I really like your banner at the top. Learning everyday!!!

  3. Looks good to me! I have given up for now on any further improvements to my own blog... so much research and learning to do. I feel like I should go back to school for web design. LOL
